Music for a world where nothing is alright.
New song is available now.
I write vulnerable and honest songs paired with guitars that add a punk edge to the chime of jangle-pop. There, I said it.
I blend pop-punk, emo, folk, ska, and Britpop influences and I refuse to apologise for it. Crash Exhibition is me doing all that and more, but it’s broadly punk. The occasional softer folkier moments reveal my mushy core.
I have, as we Irish say, “notions”. In 2019 I released my debut album Thirty One, recorded and produced completely DIY. In 2023 I finished recording my latest album, produced by Joel Hatstat at High Jump Media in Athens Georgia, USA. With special guests providing live drums and even a few bass tracks, this upcoming release was spearheaded with the first single “Alright” in October.
“I lost the will to breathe or think, and lost my thoughts inside a drink.”
“Forget You”
New Single Out Now
“Forget You”, The second single from the upcoming album “Alright” explores how mental health issues can fool you into thinking that noone cares about you, not even your friends. But it’s also got a ska thing going on, so you can dance if you like. Pick it up.
Discography
It’s kinda crazy how a discography creeps up on you. If you like punk rock and power-pop you are in the right place. Here is the Crash Exhibition Discography in all it’s glory
Alright (single)
The first single from the upcoming album of the same name is a slice of power-pop infused punk rock. Are you noticing a trend?
Thirty-One
The first album, written recorded and produced (poorly) by me. Influences from all over, but the usual ska, punk, power-pop, with the odd nod to hardcore.
Again
An EP of punk rock songs about heartbreak. Runs the gamut genre wise from the heartbroken power-pop of Again, to the hardcore catharsis of Message.
